Camp Agapé is a year-round Retreat Center and Summer Camp affiliated with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Synod of the ELCA. We have 4 year-round cabins that will hold up to 12 persons each, a Retreat and Leaning Center for meetings and dining, and 257 acres of prime Pennsylvania forest. Our summer camp provides a variety of specialize learning experiences along with traditional camp fun, Bible study, and worship experiences. In 2020 we added two year-round cabins and a new commercial kitchen to expand our retreat capacity and to serve larger groups. We are accredited with the American Camp Association.

Serving, Connecting, & Equipping Congregations:

We provide a place apart for individuals, groups, and congregations to renew, refocus, and relax. We offer an 8-week residential summer camp program for children in grades 3 through 11 and a weekly Day Camp program for ages 5 – 9. Our staff is available to work with congregations on programming and special events that deepen their faith life and sense of community as God’s children.

Keeping the staff, board and ministry in your prayers. Volunteer your time and talent to help us provide the safest and best experience possible for all those who come to camp. Donate gifts-in-kind  that will help keep the cost of camp affordable to our guest. Provide financial support for our campership, capital improvement, and endowment funds.

Lutherlyn is a 70+ year old, 660 acre, year-round camp and retreat center in Butler County that serves the NWPA and SWPA synods of the ELCA and all of God's children. Lutherlyn has five core areas of ministry: Summer Camp, Retreats/Events, Environmental Education, Equestrian Center, and Adventure Program.

Lutherlyn is a God-given place to be accepted, challenged, and sent. Lutherlyn serves, connects, and equips Lutheran congregations by providing life-changing adventures in faith and then encouraging campers to return to their communities and congregation to let their light shine. Lutherlyn provides a place for rest and renewal. Lutherlyn provides a safe place where kids (and adults) can grow in their faith, be themselves, have fun, and live in Christian Community.

How can congregations support Lutherlyn?

As partners in ministry, Lutheran congregations are invited and encouraged to send their kids to summer camp, host retreats/events/meetings/picnics at Lutherlyn, financially support Lutherlyn's mission, volunteer at camp, and spread the word about Lutherlyn.
